Planning – Final Locations Location 1 What is needed: Int. lip-syncing shots. Where is it being filmed: My house, against a white wall, not a busy background so the wall will be blank. Purpose of shot: To capture the artist lip-syncing the lyrics to cut to within the video. Actors needed: Artist – Megan Busby Equipment needed: Camera, SD card, tripod, redheads, gels, dolly. Mise en scene: Blank background of shots, carefully selected costume, the colour gel used in that particular shot. Anything to consider/remember: Shot must be static and steady, for this use a tripod. Do a variety of shots where the gel is different so there is a choice when it comes to the edit. How I am going to film this: Use a gel in the redhead to light the scene in a particular colour, make sure to use a variety of colours to make it interesting visually. Element you need to include Explanation of what you are going to include Included Visual Content and appropriate mise en scene - It is essential that in my planning of my music video that I aim to incorporate many different shots in my video to fulfil the brief and also to make the video professional and interesting for the audience of the 16-25 AB demographic also outlined. - Using appropriate mise en scene is essential to establish the branding of my artist alongside displaying the dance genre through this. - For the use of colour, I am aiming to use bright and bold colours through having gels on the redheads in the filming.
